Milena Milu is a singer and songwriter whose music has always been shaped by encounters across cultures. Reggae is at the heart of her sound, but her musical world has grown through years of collaboration, travel and exchange.
Ghana became an important part of that story. Working and performing with Ghanaian artists deepened an approach to music rooted in exchange, collaboration and genuine connection between people, traditions and places.
That spirit still defines Milena Milu today. Her songs bring together modern roots reggae, contemporary pop and sounds and traditions from different musical cultures, while exploring belonging, compassion, social questions and the courage to stay open in a complicated world.
Today, music is also closely connected to family life. As a mother of two, Milena writes and works in the middle of everyday life rather than outside of it — balancing creativity, family and the realities of raising children while continuing to build a musical world around openness, connection and community.
